Welcome to the official website for the Police Association of Tasmania, the trade union for Tasmanian Police Officers. This site is a showcase of the Police Association, from its' history to current day business. Established in 1923 when there were 235 police officers the Police Association has grown to 1250 members. This site is a valuable resource for our members and it will give the community an insight to our organisation. The Police Association represents these members in protecting their profession, ensuring their rights and negotiating remuneration and conditions of service. We hope you enjoy our website.
